Timeshares: In Perpetuity

The contract you have to sign to get a timeshare says its term is “in perpetuity” …but what does that actually mean?

You might think they will come after you for the various payments as long as you want to use “your” property.

Oh, sure, but that’s just the start!

You’re required to pay even if you don’t want to, or can’t, use your ownership.

What, until you’re dead?

Oh, wouldn’t that be lovely?

But no: they want your children’s blood too (or anyone else you get to take over the contract).

Remember: Corporations are Immortal, in addition to sometimes being Immoral.

To be continued …forever.
